Bigger file sizes.
« on: January 05, 2013, 04:30:37 pm »
I want to upload some pictures of my cylinder head installation and the following dyno graphs. As well as my new fuel hoses but I'm not allowed as my files are too big.

I have cropped my images as far as possible but they are still too big.

Is there either a way you can increase the file size aloud or tell me how to make the files smaller.

Tim,

Rather than cropping try re-sizing the images, to display on a forum such as this they don't really need to be any bigger than 600 x 800 pixels in most cases which you'll be able to post with no issue at all  ;)

Tim  :)

I upload my photos to www.photobucket.com and copy the IMG code from there to the post I am making. This way, the forum refers to the photo's location rather than storing them directly. Also, photobucket allows you to crop the pics online :)

The maximum total size per post is 1024KB, with a maximum size of 512KB per image. As previously suggested: photobucket is the way to go.
