Sounds a good setup Jon,

I haven't posted in a while as have been busy prepping my car and another for the 2015 season.

You all know my car so not much point going in to too much detail on that, apart from to say Jason is currently working on some upgrades for me.....watch my build thread in a few weeks for more info  ;)

The second car is a standard'ish Mk3 VR6 that ran in VAG Trophy last season but didn't perform to it's true potential....so after the initial test 10 days ago we have set about making a few tweaks and changes and in fact I will be 'piloting' this car at the first rounds of the season at Silverstone on 28/29 March  8)

So some of you in the know may have heard some rumours of drivers being unhappy with the way the current owner ran the championship in 2014 after buying it from John Hillon.

Well as a result of said persons attitude the majority of the field has decided to walk away from the championship and one of the well connected drivers has organised for a breakaway series to be run by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club....the series will be cheaper to register for and will be cheaper to enter each round which will all be double headers of 15min races, with the option to also race in Thunder saloons for 1/2 price during same meetings  :)

It's a great shame that we have been forced to take such drastic action, however unfortunately the current owner is a complete ****!

I will keep you all updated as and when any further information becomes available.

Yep Tony Law is Jason's fabricator of choice for exhaust manifolds......in fact he has just done one for the racecar to Jason's spec and there'll be some back to back testing going on in the new year in the hands of Jason and Alvin to show the difference it makes  8)
