As background to the last few posts ...

The car has sat idle for the last eight years, with a new engine - new Leda suspension - new fuel cell and supply system.

Events and circumstance over the past three months eventually motivated me to get it to Jason with the intention of getting it back on the road, in a far more reliable condition to cope with prolonged storage periods.

As with all such `basic` plans, they expand ...  ::)

Just `a bit` to do then ...  ;)  ;D

From post 1

2006 saw further changes ... 2000 16v (9A) / 290` Newmans & solid lifters still on KJet / Leda coilovers with front eccentric top mounts for 5` positive caster / Fuel cell & pumps in spare wheel well

- Install bias pedal box
- Install intercam vernier
- Install Quaife quick rack
- KJet removal - Jenvey`s & DTA to replace
- Radiator removal - replace with custom outwith intakes
- Remove seat mounting - replace with adjustable system
- Wiring loom removal - replace with custom loom and SPA dash
- Boot mounted fuel system removal - replace with custom underfloor system

I think that Jason has agreed to this  ;)

The 2006 changes were made in light of the then local regs in and around Aberdeen, these regs went out the window a long time back though. The only current class where it can run is in Saloon Libre, a mix of all sorts of unclassifiable road legal machinery.

We had considered changing back to an 8v unit to return to a proper class but I really do want to see what this engine can do. So, it`s get it running and then decide if we revert later. The TB`s are sized to be able to swap over to a decent 8v in future.

One of my daughters wants to double drive hence the seat mount change.
