Just had some feedback left on Youtube about one of the videos I thought I would share.....

"AshVX220 has made a comment on Castle Combe Trackday 13/8/12:
Hi mate, I was there that day too, with a couple of mates in their Mk1 MX-5, was a fantastic day and your two Golfs were brilliant, so quick!!
Looking forward to the next track day we do now.
Ash"

Hiya Sam,

I would be interested but I don't have any 15" rims unfortunately  :(

Stooza, a valver is alright as an intermediate engine but you'll really need an 8v to be on the pace  ;) :D

Tim, looks like the car is going well, well done. It's amazed me when mine was in it's slick 50 spec how well it performed on the track. Would drive past 911's and the like, they don't have to be big spec on paper to perform well.

I've enough bits here to build a slick 50 + spec engine and an old caddy van rolling shell that I want to use. That would be fun with some ladders on the roof for effect :D

Liking the sound of the caddy build Tony. Always had a soft spot for them. Nothings decided yet as far as engines are concerned.. if the 8v isnt cooked then I will rebuild it.. be nice to have the 16v motor too tho.. comes as part of a deal with a quaife box u see.
