Prept Track Attack. My on-board Video
« on: July 28, 2012, 09:16:08 am »
Thought I would post my on-board video!

I had only used the JMR Linkage for 2 races before, so I have just doubled my seat-time with it. Great to use.

I ended up on track with this, which was nice. Picture from Chris Eyre

That Reeves Mk1 is absolutely ballistic! I was great to watch them trying to hassle the touring car through traffic. It has a power advantage so could keep up on the straight bits (not many at Brands though).

Great video Sam  ;D

What camera are you using out of interest as I need to get one for if/when I start racing  ;)

Great video! I do like that Golf tourer - was that the fastest VAG car at the event, or were there some Leon supercopa's there?

Thanks! The footage is more fun because of Dave's reaction.
No Leons. It would be good to see one against the tourer. Although it depends who is pedalling of course. The mk4 AMD golf from the VAG Trophy was around, he is fast too.
Rob, are you the Rob Allum in the VAG with the 1.8T seat? Sorry to be slow. Glad to see it going well. I hope to be on your pace at Brands GP in September :)

Does anyone know the Standard looking green mk1 around 2/3's way through (8:26)? He was going well, and the car seems well set-up through paddock. I followed him another session too, and it was moving around quite nicely.

Camera is this one:

Although I paid another £100 ontop of that price over a year ago!
It is the same lens as a GoPro but with a screen on the side. I only have it on half the quality, otherwise the files are massive.
I bought an external mic and record button for the dash, which makes all the difference.

Dog Cam sports (website above) have a great service, and sent a 10% discount code in the last email newsletter, for this weekend:
GBDC10

I should get bloody commission!!

Great to see you there Sam, really enjoyed being out on track with you all on the day.

Took some time to learn the circuit and stop bits undoing/falling off our new build lol but felt better as the day went on.

Great event.
