Hello From Scotland
« on: May 16, 2017, 10:16:55 pm »
Hello from Scotland.

Used to run a modified 1.9  Mk1 GTI a long time ago,........ then a couple of years ago I rebuilt a friends Mk1 Cabby for him which I liked driving it so much I had to have, ( and still do )

In a moment of weekness this spring I bought a 3 door, non-sunroof diesel tin top which I'm in the proccess of stitching back together to turn into a nice little hillclimb car for my son and I. ( KR engine and 45's I have up the back of the garage are my thoughts ) or could use a 2.0l 8v bottom end with a MK2 head and a ridiculous cam.
Not decided yet as I'm still at the cutting and welding stage.

Love the chat on the forum and it's refreshing to read about folk having the same problems I run into and how they solve them....

Cheers

Kev
